"Because the spill reached 200 meters, the spraying was carried out twice. One tanker is only enough to spray around 100 meters. Had to repeat the spraying for the next 100 meters," he said.

After being sprayed, he added, PPSU personnel cleaned the road by scrubbing it with a broom stick. Satpol PP and Transportation Implementer Unit assisted the traffic flow.

Based on local residents' statement, the oil spill is thought to have come from a forklift that was passing by. Without the driver realizing it, hydraulic oil leaked onto the asphalt of the road.

"There were four motorbikes slipped caused of this oil spill. But they continued their journey again," he added.

Meanwhile, Malaka Sari Urban Village's Economy and Development Section Head, Aan Sunani, his side also deployed nine PPSU personnel, five Satpol PP personnel, and five Transportation Implementer Unit personnel to assist the handling.

His party has also recorded the identity of the forklift driver so that the case will then be handled by the East Jakarta City Legal Department.

"We only need to provide identity data and ask the driver to make a statement not to repeat his action again. Traffic jams caused by this incident reached Bintara Station, Bekasi," he stated.
